Stephane Haffner (Italian/French)
Stephane Haffner is the owner, founder and artistic director of the French contemporary circus company Les Farfadais. At a young age, he was involved in high-level gymnastics. After graduation Stephane moved to Paris and was admitted to the famous fashion and design school Dupree - the same school Jean-Paul Gaultier had studied. To pay for his education and housing, he created an elaborate street performance using his gymnastics and fashion design talents. He would perform daily in the square outside the museum George Pompidou, entertaining his first audiences who in return left franks for the aspiring artist. This location gave him great exposure and he was soon discovered by the movie director Luc Besson. Stephane, with the ability to speak seven languages fluently and various artistic talents, was able to use these skills to take his street performance to the stage. Soon creating the company today know as Les Farfadais. Stephane produced his first original production “Mana” which was a huge success and a stepping stone for the company. Over the years his company grew, allowing many opportunities to perform and collaborate with large names in the entertainment industry. His work ethic, drive, dedication and love for performance is key to his success.
Kyle Kier (American)
Kyle Kier, 27, was born and raised in Rochester, New York. His interest and training in acrobatics began at the age of three, where he excelled in gymnastics and competition diving. Growing up he was always drawn to theatrical arts. Kyle began his professional performance carrer in 2009, joining the cast of Metropolis Productions at Walt Disney World. In 2013, after three years performing with Norwegian Cruise Lines, he was scouted to join the French circus company Les Farfadais. Kyle now preforms internationally with Les Farfadais as well as choreographs, directs, and manages their social media.
Emiliano Simeoni (Italian)
Emiliano Simone is a ballet dancer who started his journey at the age of eight. With support from his family and friends, he received a master’s in dance at Gianin Loringette’s jazz centre in France. The following year, Emiliano was accepted to Grand Victor Ullate, the classic ballet school of Madrid. He continued his solo career on Spanish and Italian television though 2000, shortly after meeting Stephane Haffner and creating “Duo Angles” which is now know as Les Farfadais. Emiliano, when not performing, is directing and is assistant choreographer for the company.
Bruno Miguel Rosa (Portuguese)
Bruno Rosa is 28 years old from Lisbon, Portugal. His circus career started at fifteen when studying circus artistry at Chapito Lisbon. After graduation, he was cast with a Spanish circus company Pablo Mendez Performances and has been touring with various companies since then. For nine years, he owned his own circus company called Armazem 13 Project where he created shows, performed, and taught others the art of circus. In 2015, he joined the Les Farfadais company, touring and performing internationally with them.
MoNika Ell (American)
As a child MoNika was involved in Wushu and ballet. This interest in movement led him to a local cirque company Pendulum Aerial Arts in Portland, Oregon where he trained for the next twelve years. He grew up with the company, starting off in the after school kids program, all the way up to becoming a principle company member, head coach and now director of education and assistance artistic director. In 2014, he placed 2nd at the World Pole Sport/Fitness Championship and 1st at the National Aerial Pole Art Championship. His training includes: Wushu, dance, aerial circus arts, gymnastics, Pilates, and yoga. In the fall of 2017, MoNika joined Les Farfadais in the production of AirOtic and has been touring with the company ever since.
Born in the Philippines and raised in the US, he started performing professionally at thirteen. He trained Mongolian-Style Contortion with Erdenechimeg Janov in Las Vegas and at X Roses Contortion Centre of Mongolia. Since then, he has performed with many companies including Cirque du Soleil, Franco Dragone, Les Farfadais and even was part of the feature film, "The Greatest Showman."
Zorè España (American)
Zore has grown up all her life in the entertainment business. She has traveled the world as a sixth generation circus acrobat who came from two renowned circus families- The Espana family inducted into the circus ring of fame in 2018, as well as the Kehayova family with record breaking talents such as the 7 man high. Zorè is multi-talented in a variety of acrobatic and circus fields. She has taken her talent to many places such as Spain, China, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
